“Glass as a medium allows me to explore light and color way that no other art form has in the past. The contrast between the rigidity of the glass that goes in the kiln and the fluidity of what comes out, the way light is transmitted through or reflected off the glass, is a constant source of wonder. I enjoy making objects that combine beauty and practicality for the home, offering classes, and creating one-of-a-kind ornaments around the holidays.
My love of glass as a medium began with stained/leaded glass, but has since progressed to kiln-formed glass. I have 10 years of experience, a large stained glass window on display at Kinney Creek, and offer classes though Dwell Local.”
