I grew up watching my aunts: Sandy painting porcelain, Holly making many different types of crafts, and Mary sewing, quilting and refinishing furniture. It was these women, and many others, that inspired me to pursue a career in the arts. 

I have had many other strong influences in my life whom have worked hard and impressed upon me that you can stand tall and make it your own way! I have been married for 14 years, and have five wonderful children…Everyone helps out: from hiking together gathering leaves, to hanging out and keeping me company at art shows!
