I think that John Keats said it best:

“ . . . beauty moves away the pall from our dark spirits.”

The beauty in the pictures that I take is meant to give a sense of well-being, a reassurance, a feeling of the sacredness of place.

When I’m not taking pictures, I am loving my grandchildren and family, teaching first grade, romping with our border collie, and playing old time fiddle.

I love my Nikon D200. Going digital was a big step. The editing that I do only corrects the operator’s error.
