If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. — Psalm 139:8 NIV

What is it that draws your eye into an image?  Why do you display art in your home?  For me, it’s the wow factor.  Wherever I look, from dawn to nightfall, I marvel at the splendor, generosity, majesty and wonder of God’s creation.  From a wildflower to lakes, pastures, woods, mountains and meadows, I’m fascinated by light, shadow, color, texture, shape and symmetry.  If what I experience is a wow moment, I try to convert it into a wow image.

I can invest hours making a single print, working in the field and later at home, gazing at my computer screen.  But when the work is done, the print has to have a wow factor if I’m to display it or offer it to others.

My goal is to celebrate God’s profoundly rich, gracious creation.  My prints are archival.  Others would call them giclée prints; fine art digital prints made on an ink-jet printer.  Matted, framed and displayed properly (away from direct sunlight), the colors should remain true for many decades.
