Brian Cragun discovered his inner artist in 2001 and began drawing and painting everything in sight.  Painting oils on location (plein air) is his current love.  “I take great delight in the rich experience of being on location and seeing the color and light directly.  Nothing is as satisfying as capturing that moment forever on canvas.”
He has studied with Marc Hanson, award winning plein air artist and teacher from Taylor’s Falls, Minnesota. He has also taken local classes from Greg Caron and Susan Hong-Sammons.
