If you visit Olmsted Medical Center on 9th Street SE in Rochester, you will find several paintings and photographs by SEMVA artists.   Olmsted Medical Center has been redecorating its lobbies, hallways, and waiting rooms over the past few months with artwork purchased from local artists.

Olmsted Medical Center stated in a recent news letter that purchasing community art keeps their investment local, and the works significantly upgrade the healing environments within their facilities.  They currently have more than 70 pieces of local art in place, and plan to expand the program to feature additional media including ceramics, sculpture, and stained glass.
