Several botanical artworks by SEMVA artist Linda M. Thorson will be in the upcoming Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden Florilegium Exhibition August 14 – October 15, 201. The show will be held in the Hennepin County Library – Minneapolis Central Library, Cargill Hall

This exhibit includes nearly 50 paintings of native plants found at the Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden. Established in 1907, the Garden is the oldest public wildflower garden in America. The Florilegium will serve to document the plants of the Garden through paintings. It is an ongoing project by students of The Minnesota School of Botanical Art.
The exhibit is free and open to the public during library hours. The library is located at 300 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis.
