Jeanne Licari’s plein air painting of Cathedral Rock in Sedona won an award at the MN Association of Artists Juried Spring Exhibition at the FrameWorks Gallery in St. Paul MN. The show runs from April 13-May 18, 2013. As a recipient of McKnight Established Artist Grant, HeeJune Shin will have an exhibition of landscapes: “Light in the Moment”. The 12 new paintings will show her growth as a colorist. Colorists are sensitive to the light key of the moment in which objects are seen. There are paintings of the same place at different [...] Jeanne Licari and fellow artist, Toni Stevens, will be in a RAC2 show at the Rochester Art Center opening January 11, 2013. It will run until February 17th, 2013. RAC2 is a Rochester artist collaborative featuring local artists. Jeanne will exhibit studio and plein air oil paintings of mostly landscapes. Toni will exhibit watercolor paintings [...] Jeanne Licari will be in the “Just Figures” show at Crossings at Carnegie in Zumbrota MN. The show runs during the month of January, 2013. She has a figure drawn from life using conte’ crayon and charcoal in the show. Several SEMVA artists will be showing their work at Assisi Heights in Rochester on Nov 3rd from 10 am – 4:30 pm. Admission is free though donations are welcome and will support the ministries of the Sisters of Saint Francis. Fine arts and crafts for sale. Quilts, children’s activities, refreshments and more.
