The Goose is Loose

Ann RiggotRochester is now home to several 4 1/2 ‘ tall goose statues, all uniquely designed and decorated by local artists.  (Similar to Chicago Cows, Washington D.C. Donkeys and Elephants, Peanuts characters in St. Paul, etc).  The artists whose designs were chosen by the sponsors worked on the geese during the ‘Paint off’ from June 8th through June 18th.  Most of the work was done in the graham arena at the county fair grounds. 

Four SEMVA artists, and one future SEMVA artist had their designs chosen and were able to participate in the Project.  Continue reading The Goose is Loose

Thursdays on First and Third

Best of Show

Semva Artist Karin Neuvirth Recieved the ‘Best of Show’ Award at the Green Lake Fine Art show with her expressionistic acrylic paintings.  This juried fine arts show is held annually in the town of Green Lake Wisconsin, and this is the highest award given at the show.
